See Overwatch's Halloween Themed Updates Plus New Coop Mode Halloween Brawl

Blizzard's Seasonal Event for the duration and celebration of Halloween is now live and they called it "Overwatch Halloween Terror." Players can get to explore the haunted streets of Hollywood and expand their collection of Halloween themed items such as skins, sprays, and more. In the new update, heroes can also relive a chilling tale in Overwatch's first-ever PvE brawl titled 'Junkenstein's Revenge.'

Junkenstein's Revenge PvE Co-op Brawl

In Junkenstein's Revenge, players get to team up for up to four members and face off against "zombics" or essentially zombie omnics i.e. the spooky robots. Players get to go up against Haloween-themed heroes like Mercy as the mysterious witch, Junkrat as Dr. Junkenstein, Roadhog or Junkenstein's Monster and the Reaper as a jack-o-lantern version of himself.

Players have to defend Adlersbrunn against Dr. Junkenstein's creation. To that end, they need to pick Ana, Hanzo, McCree, or Soldier:76. These heroes need to work together to withstand waves of zomnic attacks and Junkenstein's Monster.

To know more about Junkenstein's Monster, Blizzard also released the Junkenstein Comic; which tells the story of a scientist who successfully brought a monster to life with the help of a mysterious witch. He couldn't control the monster and nor did he want to so he let it rampage across town. According to Blizzard, "this terrifying tale follows Dr. Jamison Junkenstein, an inventor and scientist who was once employed by the Lord of Adlersbrunn.

Junkenstein's dream was to create artificial life, but the Lord of Adlersbrunn mocked the scientist and his creations, calling him a fool and dismissing him from service. Slighted, Junkenstein vowed to prove the lord wrong, and when an unexpected visitor showed up and offered the key to perfecting his creation, Junkenstein's Monster was born."

Overwatch Halloween Cosmetic Items And Loot Boxes

Blizzard said there's a total of 100 new Halloween cosmetic items from Loot Boxes, which were replaced by glowing jack-o'-lanterns. These jack-o'-lanterns may contain at least one random item from their Halloween 2016 collection; which includes Halloween-themed profile icons, sprays, victory pses, emotes, highlight intros, skins, and more. Overwatch Halloween Terror is now live for every PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One who has the game.
