Battlefield 1 has already released the file size of the PlayStation 4 version of the game and it's huge asking for 45.53 GB of free space in your console's hard disk drive. The information can be seen on the PlayStation Store when you view its product page.
The download file is, of course, for those who opt to buy the digital version of the game. That means if you are one of those players who want this option, you might consider expanding your HDD space. If 45.53 GB is too much for you and do not want to make any console upgrades, the game has a disc version which can be pre-ordered.
Those who are thinking of upgrading their hard drive space to accommodate Battlefield 1 in their consoles, experts recommend the Seagate 2TB Laptop HDD Internal Hard Drive (ST2000LM007), which can be purchased on Amazon.
On the other hand, the PC version of the game requires 50 GB of free disk space on your HD as the minimum and recommended requirements if you want to enjoy Battlefield 1 to the maximum. However, the recommended RAM is 16 GB while the minimum requirement is 8GB. Moreover, it also requires an Internet speed connection of 512 Kbps or faster.
Battlefield 1 will have two release dates in North America. On Oct. 18, EA will release the Early Enlister Deluxe and Collector's Edition of the game. On the other hand, the Standard Edition will have a later release which is on Oct. 21.
Meanwhile, Battlefield 1 has received a Mature rating from the ESRB because of its violence and strong language content. The censorship committee also tagged the game as having a lot of blood. This, of course, is already expected since it is a game inspired by World War I where stealth and battle skills are needed in order to survive.
