Fujifilm has unveiled XF1, the latest addition to its X series of digital cameras.
The latest XF1 sports a 3.0-inch LCD monitor with tempered glass around the back.The camera also has a 2/3-inch, 12-megapixel EXR-CMOS sensor and EXR processor, 25-100mm f/1.8-4.9 lens with 4x manual zoom, ISO that ranges up to ISO 12,800. The camera also has Optical Image Stabilization, to minimize camera shake without compromising resolution around the edges of the image, a common problem with conventional stabilization systems. The camera can shoot 1080p 30fps videos.
Additionally, The XF1 is also capable of Macro photography at ranges as close as 3cm, and with its fast lens and six diaphragm blades, the retro camera can capture images with a beautiful "Bokeh" depth of field effect.

"And the FUJIFILM XF1 lives up to that reputation, while adding a new level of portability and style with its unique retractable F1.8 manual zoom lens along with lightweight and durable aluminum body covered in synthetic leather for a bold, retro look."
The compact FUJIFILM XF1 will be available in three luxurious colors: dimpled synthetic black leather, smooth synthetic tan leather, and elegant synthetic red leather, the company informed in a written statement. Each new XF1 will begin shipping in October 2012 for $500 in the U.S. The U.K. pricing details of the camera are not yet known.
