A brand new movie trailer of the "Assassin's Creed" starring Michael Fassbender has just been released and it will get the attention of the video game fans. The first movie preview was badly edited. This latest teaser will get your adrenalin pumping.
Michael Fassbender Tackles The Main Role
Michael Fassbender is the main lead of the "Assassin's Creed." He plays the role of Callum Lynch, who is made to experience the adventures of Aguilar, his ancestor who lived in 15th Century Spain. The teaser has Fassbender running around and being a full badass killing people here and there. Helping him in his assassin's quest is Dr. Sophia Rikkin, played by Marion Cotillard. She gets him up to speed literally through advanced medical science.
The Story Plot Is Intriguing As It Is Exciting
Fassbender's Callum Lynch is a present day criminal who is related to a member of the "Assassins," an ancient group of hired killers. By means of a revolutionary medical procedure, he was able to unlock his genetic memories. Fassbender quickly learns the tricks of the trade of his ancestor. This is important for the role he has to play in the movie.
The latest movie trailer shows him using those skills to overcome his enemies. He was quick and meticulous in cutting, dicing and slicing his way through the various enemies he encounters. Wearing a dark, hooded robe, which is seemingly the best garb that could represent his work as an undercover assassin, Fassbender really looks like a true badass.
"It's not like Star Wars where you have the dark side and the light," said Fassbender in an interview with Screenrant. "Both of these factions ... they contradict themselves all the time. And they are hypocritical, as well, of their beliefs," he continued. "So, morally, you've got a very gray area that both of them are working in. I thought that was unusual for this sort of film, and also just a lot more interesting," he added. "Assassin's Creed" will hit the theaters on Dec. 21st.
