While fixing the Galaxy Note 7 battery incident and with a lot of leaks on the Galaxy S8 launching, Samsung is trying to crack down on exposures of company information and marketing strategy. To impart this new policy of tight-lipped secrecy, Samsung sent an email to Samsung executives and all the employees.
According to the Korea Herald, the email reminded employees that "leaks of operational secrets can cause irreversible ramifications, posing a great financial risk on the company and leading to broken partnerships and loss of trust."
Numerous reports and leaks have embarrassed Samsung over the past few months, mostly relating to the issues of a situation surrounding the flagship phone, Galaxy Note 7. From this, we can conclude that the company will lead to low annual income this year compare to the last successful years. That is why some employees are prepared to lose their large bonuses they’ve been getting due to helping the mobile division return to profit growth. And others are worried that they’ll be out of a job altogether.
Frustrated Employees
As reported by Fortune, the sense of frustration among Samsung staff has been heightened by the company's inability to find the cause of the fires in replacement Note 7s that began shipping last month with what Samsung said were safe batteries, insiders said.
Everyone’s afraid to be heard even breathing. There will be punitive measures; someone will have to take responsibility for this.

Samsung insiders say there is more nervousness this year than normal, and talk internally of sweeping changes, with a cull both in the executive suite and on the ground level.
Reuters reports that the feeling around Samsung's headquarters is gloomy and that there's talk around the watercooler of major restructurings both on the executive and on the ground levels.
Samsung's Next Move
According to one of the suppliers of the company, Samsung, which is well known for micromanaging its partnership deals, is making more efforts than before to prevent any information leak on new smartphones.
"Samsung has notified its suppliers not to mention a single word on the Galaxy S8," the official said.
Like other smartphone makers, such as Apple, Samsung applies a rigorous set of standards to its partnerships, sometimes switching the supply of electronic parts from one to another, or charging penalty fees on a partner, in the case of violation of non-disclosure agreement.
The email sent by the company to its employees is the one of the BIGGEST and GREATEST move Samsung made as of now. At least they are making their people aware what is going on and what has to be done regarding the problem they are facing right now.
