Ubisoft's upcoming historical, action-adventure open world stealth title "Assassin's Creed 3" is easily one of the highly-anticipated games of the year. Now, per reports, Ubisoft has released a brand new trailer for "Assassin's Creed 3" with an aim to showcase protagonist Connor Kenway's skill at wielding a variety of weapons, which also includes his signature Tomahawk.
The video provides a short glimpse of the type of weapons and the brutal realities of the warfare during the American Revolution, which the player will overcome as Connor. Also on offer is the answer to why the Americans turned to guerilla warfare tactics that eventually changed the course of the historical war for freedom from the invading British.
While players, per reports, will have access to the fabled Tomahawk, as well as a larger battle axe in the game, the video also shows a musket, a bow and arrow, and Connor's rope darts. Therefore, there will be no shortage of weapons within the game.
Additionally, while developer and publisher Ubisoft updated its Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia version only recently, online retailer Amazon has already come up with a special deal for the fans to grab their copies of the version.
The new second edition of the version has been brought forward to guide fans through the intricate plot and many characters, including the upcoming "Assassin's Creed 3." Currently, Ubisoft is selling the book on its web store for $49.95, but Amazon's new deal will save interested fans about $10. Moreover, it's also Amazon Prime-eligible.
For $99.99, fans can pre-order "Assassin's Creed 3: Encyclopedia Edition" for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, which comes bundled with the "Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia 2nd Edition" hardcover book and the "Assassin's Creed: Subject 4" graphic novel.
What's more, the Amazon version also includes exclusive unlockables for the game's single-player campaign - the Boarding Axe weapon and "The Captain Of The Aquila" character. If ordered, Amazon will ship this game in time for its Oct. 30 release date.
Acquiring the book and game separately, even without the graphic novel, would cost players about $110 and, therefore, Amazon has introduced this $99.99 special collection price to save the fans at least $10.
"Assassin's Creed 3" is currently set for a worldwide release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, beginning in North America on Oct. 30, 2012, with a Microsoft Windows version following on Nov. 20, 2012. The Wii U version of the game is set for a Nov. 18 release.
