Former Spice Girl-Turned-Designer, Victoria Beckham Collaborates With Target For Spring 2017

Victoria Beckham is brewing something exciting for her fans. The star recently presented her Spring 2017 Collection during New York Fashion Week.

Beckham will be collaborating with Target, the ultimate U.S. retailer released on Wednesday evening.The collaborating will reportedly feature Victoria Beckham's clothing line, but in lower price ranges than her ready-to-wear eponymous brand.

Victoria is expected to feature women's clothes from tops, bottoms, rompers, and dresses.

Aside from this, the collaboration will also reach out to girls of the younger age ranges- toddlers to baby sizes. This will mark the British brand's first time to design children's wear.

"Being a mother has helped me understand what's important when it comes to the category," Beckham confirmed being a the mother of four. "For me it was really all about finding a balance between the fun elements and the real-life functionality of a garment."

Beckham's design features a feminine styles which have been worn by co-stars Jennifer Lopez, Kerry Washington, and January Jones on the red carpet.

Beckham has also recently joined a list of fashion designers that have partnered with Target including Peter Pilotto, Prabal Gurung, Josepgh Altuzarra,

Beckham decided on pursuing VBxTarget because she "loved the idea of opening the brand up to a wider audience and being able to share my vision with a broader customer base."

"I have always said that the best way for me to learn about new areas is to work with an expert in that field. In order to do something well, you need to surround yourself with the right people, and the Target team members have been the right people for me," added Beckham.

The VBxTarget 200-piece collection will be launched on April 9, 2017.

"Victoria is arguably the most widely known design partner we've ever worked with globally," confirmed by Joshua Thomas, a Target spokesman.

"She came into public awareness through entertainment, but she has established herself and has a very good reputation as a designer. That's not always an easy transition but she's very well regarded in the design community. She's very talented."
