WikiLeaks Relased First Bach of Barack Obama´s Documents And His Personal Email Address

WikiLeaks have intensified its mission to release classified documents before the U.S. presidential elections, publishing the personal email address of Barack Obama and releasing a batch of hacked documents allegedly to be from him. WikiLeaks promised to release more information on democrats Tim Kaine and Donna Brazile, as well.

Barack Obama´s Personal Email

Both the documents and the email address, which was bobama@ameritech.net before he became president, date back to 2008, showing messages between Obama and Hillary Clinton´s campaign chairman John Podesta - whose email was also hacked - before the Chief of State took office in 2009.

One of the leaked documents reveals a conversation between the president and Podesta, in which the latter advised Obama not to meet with international leaders during an upcoming G-20 meeting, giving the fact that the then president George W Bush was going to be there, and it could be harmful to Obama´s image, as reported by the International Business Times.

A Convenient Recommendation

"I don't want to bug you today, but the memo pasted below concerns a possible invitation to the G-20 meeting on November 15. On the chance that President Bush would raise this with you tonight, I wanted you to be aware that it is the unanimous recommendation for your advisors that you NOT attend."

"Pros and Cons of Attending the Meeting An invitation to this meeting presents an especially sensitive instance of the larger set of issues related to our engagement with the Administration on the financial crisis throughout the transition (addressed in our earlier memo). We believe the risks associated with your attendance substantially outweigh any benefits of attendance," Podesta wrote in the mail.

The White House Might Take Action Against WikiLeaks

This leak takes place days after Julian Assange´s Internet was sabotaged by the Ecuadorean embassy, in order to protect the U.S. presidential election. After this incident, WikiLeaks revealed that Secretary of State John Kerry pressured Ecuadorean officials to prevent any other leak from Assange´s firm.

Although the White House hasn't made an official statement about this new situation, it is expected to take some actions against Assange. Meanwhile, Assange is still living in the embassy of the United States' new ally, wanting to keep his promise to release every single document regarding the election before November 8.
