The American television series “Empire” will be making a rather long hiatus to make way to the broadcasting of the highly celebrated sports event, the World Series.
“Empire” has just kicked off its new season this year and has been received positively by the public. Unfortunately, the drama series will be taking a break of hopefully just two weeks. That means "Empire" Season 3 Episode 5 will be postponed to a new later broadcast date. The reason for the series being halted is because of the upcoming World Series.
For everyone’s information, the World Series is the annual championship series of Major League Baseball (MLB) in North America. It is a well known sports event in North America since it only takes places one a year, drawing thousands of fans to come out of their way to flock and cheer for their respective teams. The World Series will commence with its first game with Cleveland Indians, whose opponent has not yet been determined, on Oct. 26 in Progressive Field, Cleveland, Ohio.
Meanwhile, the fans of the series “Empire” will either have to sit out the major baseball series event and wait for it to finish or just cheer on the baseball players and enjoy the show while it lasts. "Empire" Season 3 Episode 5 is promised to continue after two weeks, which will be on November. Such schedule shall push through provided that there will be no changes to the World Series schedule as well.
“Empire” is an American musical drama television series created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong. The musical series consists of a talented ensemble of stars namely Terrence Howard, Bryshere Gray, Jussie Smollett, Trai Byers, Grace Gealey, Malik Yoba, Kaitlin Doubleday, Taraji P. Henson, Gabourey Sidibe, Ta’Rhonda Jones, Serayah, Xzibit, Morocco Omari, and Bre-Z.
The series may be musical but one cannot expect that it is actually about a former drug dealer named Lucious Lyon, played by Howard, who turned into a CEO of his own entertainment company, Empire Entertainment. He tries to move on from his life as a drug mogul but it seems that his past is trying to catch up to him. “Empire” Season 3 premiered on Sept. 21 on Fox and “Empire” Season 3 Episode 5 titled “One Before Another” has been reportedly moved to broadcast on Nov. 2.
