The Sims 4: City Living DLC has not yet arrived, but players are already talking about the next expansions for the highly popular sim game. According to brewing rumors, fans may soon see Pets and Seasons following the November update.
The Sims 4: Pets And Seasons DLC Confirmed?
Fans have been asking for two The Sims 4 expansion packs from way back. As the release of City Living DLC nears, rumors about the next planned DLCs are getting hotter and hotter. Will players finally get Pets and Seasons?
"I think so. But what do I know?" SimGuruDaniel said in a Reddit thread. While the statement from EA's own Sim Guru does not guarantee that Pets and Seasons expansion packs are coming to The Sims 4, it is enough for rumors to spread wildly.
The Sims 2, 3 DLCs Coming To The Sims 4
Long-time fans of the franchise would know that the second iteration of the title, The Sims 2, was the first to feature Pets and Seasons as separate expansions. Both were hugely successful, so it is no wonder that both were carried over to The Sims 3.
If The Sims 4 were to also adopt the Seasons expansion, then players can expect to be able to experience different weathers, such as Sunny, Rain, Lightning, Snow and more. There should also be festivals according to the current season, which would consist of Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
As for The Sims 4 Pets, players would be able to create pets with personalities. There should be critters, dogs, cats, birds and even horses. The current game title might even add more pets that will become the Sims' best friends.
As of now, there is no direct confirmation from EA whether they will bring over Pets and Seasons to The Sims 4. Meanwhile, City Living is arriving in November with Hijinks Festivals, Romance and Spice Festivals, and more.
