Google Pixel's camera lens flare problem will be fixed by Google. Owners are happy about it and hope that other issues of the phone will also be fixed.
According to Digital Trends, the Google Pixel smartphone has been released to some pretty excellent reviews. However, despite from all that and its camera being one of its selling points, there have been some complaints from the users regarding about the camera lens flare. Upon hearing the complaints, Google has decided to fix the issue by developing a downloadable software patch that will somehow apply some magical mathematics to solve the problem.
Aside from Google Pixel's camera lens flare issue, there are still other issues that Google has to take notice of and fix. Here are some of the issues listed at Trusted Reviews:
Microphone problem
One of Google Pixel's selling features is the Google Assistant. Given that this is one of the updates that Google focused on for their Google Pixel, it is a wonder why will there be an issue about this. Many users reported that the Google Pixel's microphone will stop working at random time, which makes the Google Assistant useless.
Initial Wi-Fi connectivity
Users of the Google Pixel sometimes have a hard time in connecting to a Wi-Fi. With this issue, users reportedly tried to fix this issue by turning the Wi-Fi symbol on and off until it connects. When that doesn't work, some users restart their phone which can be really bothersome if you're in the middle of doing something. Finally, some just restarts the Wi-Fi's modem, which is not only troublesome for the user but also for the other users connecting to the Wi-Fi.
Overheating
With the shocking revelation of Samsung's fire-prone phones from its users, it is not a wonder if people may tend to worry or overreact with overheating problems. Thankfully, there are no reports about Google Pixel users getting burned or anything related to that. But still, this is an issue that Google must fix.
Google Pixel Switching Between Wi-Fi And Mobile Data
If your Google Pixel keeps switching between Wi-Fi and Mobile Data at random times, then that is because of its "Smart Network Switch" feature. To fix this, users must uncheck the "Smart Network Switch" button at the setting. Though this is not really a big issue and can be easily fixed, there are reports from users that it can't be unchecked. In the likely event it doesn't work, users can try wiping the cache partition.
Battery Life Problems
While the Google Pixel's battery is an upgrade from its predecessors, there are reports from users that the Google Pixel's battery life not that great. With some of its apps draining massive amount of battery life, it is not a wonder. To fix this problem, users must to "Force Stop" some applications which can be annoying if you constantly need to do this.
Spotify Widget Not Working Properly
Some Pixel users are reporting problems with Spotify when they unplug their headphones - the music apparently keeps playing, but the Spotify widget stops working.
There are more issues that need to be fixed by Google regarding the Google Pixel's feature. Thankfully, Google seems to care about its consumers and is working to fix some of the issues.
