Apple iPhone 8 New Features: Wireless Charging And No Home Button

We are merely getting a glimpse of the iPhone 7, considering that it was just released a few months ago. Despite this, the iPhone 8, which is speculated to be scheduled to launch in early 2018, is already making waves. As per speculations, Apple may launch three iPhone variants which could include an iPhone Pro variant as well.

The iPhone 8 has been rumored to come in three sizes - a 4.7-inch, 5-inch, and 5.5-inch variant. It is expected to sport no Home Button, and the fingerprint sensor will be embedded directly into the display panel. It is also expected to have an edge-to-edge display with little to no chin on the top and bottom edges. Lastly, it is tipped to ditch metal, and sport an all-glass back casing, mentioned from Gadgets 360.

It is reported as for the all-glass design, Apple may really be shifting from an aluminum back to a glass back. This could also mean that the front and back material would be made of glass. The next generation iPhone is going to have some really advanced technology like fast charging, a Retina Scanner, and a fingerprint scanner.

Design-wise, he expects that the iPhone 8 "will be, I am told, a clear piece of glass (er, Gorilla Glass sandwich with other polycarbonates for being pretty shatter resistant if dropped) with a next-generation OLED screen (I have several sources confirming this). You pop it into a headset which has eye sensors on it, which enables the next iPhone to have a higher apparent frame rate and polygon count than a PC with a Nvidia 1080 card in it," according to Macworld.

It is also predicted that the new iPhone will have a new iPhone charger, with a Lightning connector on one end and a reversible USB connector at the other end. Rumors also added iPhone 8 may include a Dual-SIM functionality. The iPhone 8 seems to be the next big thing. Only time will tell. Apple has no official confirmations yet. Stay tuned for more updates.
