The controversial Brown family is officially back, and they are returning sooner than expected as "Sister Wives" season 8 has already gotten the green light from TLC. The new season, which is set to premiere on Nov. 27, is expected to feature the new chapter for the Browns to mend their broken relationships, as well as to celebrate Mykelti's engagement and Maddie's wedding.
After months of being discrete, TLC finally talked about what fans can expect from the upcoming return of the polygamous Brown family in "Sister Wives" season 8. Countless rumors and fan speculations have been addressed and confirmed when TLC released on Tuesday, Nov. 1 the plotlines of the upcoming season. Based on the teasers, it looks like the Brown family members are still intact in their comeback.
Previous talks speculated that Meri will be dishing the reality show for her alleged wedding. Yet, TLC ended this rumor when it teased that season 8 will feature the first wife confronting her catfishing scandal. The network revealed that Meri will be seen rediscovering the roots of her problems with Kody as an effort to save their 26 years of marriage. This also trashes recent reports that Meri is set to fly to Hawaii to marry her rumored boyfriend.
The upcoming season is also said to feature Mariah's (Meri's daughter) thoughts about her mother's behavior. It can be remembered that she was greatly affected by Meri's involvement in an online scandal, and has refused to talk to her mother since. However, in a recently released video teaser, Kody is seen talking to Mariah, where he admits that he has been a catalyst for his wife's catfishing scandal in the hope that he can convince his daughter to forgive Meri.
Apart from all the feuds that "Sister Wives" season 8 is about to settle, it will also follow two of the happiest events that are about to come to the Browns. It is now confirmed that the upcoming season will feature Mykelti's (Christine's daughter) engagement journey which was originally disapproved by the family. In a recent trailer though, Christine revealed how she is amazed by her daughter's positive transformation which apparently came about when she got engaged with Antonio Padron.
Finally, fans will also witness the whole wedding journey of Maddie (Janelle's daughter) with Caleb Brush. From the couple's engagement to their wedding planning and wedding proper, the "Sister Wives" fandom is about to take a front row seat during the grand celebration of true love that came to Maddie.
These and more will be seen in "Sister Wives" season 8, which is set to air every Sunday on TLC starting Nov. 27.
