The sixth next migration on Pokémon GO had just started to happen last Wednesday, Nov. 3 and there have already been a couple of rare Pokémon species becoming common, including Paras and Poliwag. As Niantic continues to roll out updates, changes as of the latest include Pidgey, Rattata and others that no longer spawn from 2 km eggs.
Pokémon GO - Pidgey And Rattata
Following the sixth nest migration, Niantic once again pursued a surprise to trainers as a new egg hatch mechanics has been implemented. According to the announcement of Pokémon GO official Twitter account last Thursday, Nov. 3, Pidgey and Rattata can no longer hatch from 2 km eggs. This only means one thing: trainers have now double chances to hatch Starter Pokémon, not to mention other rewards too. For 2 km, Pokémon that can no longer hatch at this distance include Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Caterpie, Weedle, Spearow, Pikachu, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Zubat, Geodude and Magikarp.

For 5 km, Pokémon that can no longer hatch at this distance include Ekans, Snadshrew, Nidoran (both sexes), Vulpix, Oddish, Paras, Venomat, Meowth, Psyduck, Makey, Growlithe, Poliwag, Abra, Machop, Farfetch'd, Bellsprout, Tentacool, Ponyta, Slowpoke, Magnemite, Duodo, Eevee, Seel, Grimer, Shellder, Gastly, Drowzee, Krabby, Voltorb, Exeggcute, Cubone, Lickitung, Koffing, Rhyhorn, Tangela, Kangaskhan, Horsea, Golden, Staryu, Tauros, Porygon and Mr. Mine.
For 10 km, Pokémon that can no longer hatch at this distance include Onix, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Chansey, Scyther, Jynx, Electabuzz, Magmar, Pinsir, Lapras, Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Snorlax and Dratini.
This good news should be an advanced Christmas treat for Pokémon GO fans as players no longer need to walk in kilometers just to their eggs to hatch. Before, trainers have been complaining for the drastic mechanics of walking for longer distance just for severely common species like Pidgey and Rattata.
