Time for our weekly "Fairy Tail" update. Last week, the cover of "Fairy Tail" chapter 508 has been leaked, and it was quite provocative with Lucy on the cover wearing a soaking wet white t-shirt. Some plot spoilers were revealed but not enough to satiate an excited fan. Now, it has finally been released and here is a recap and some spoilers for "Fairy Tail" chapter 509.
"Fairy Tail" Chapter 508 Recap
It is finally out, and what do you know? Lucy really was on the cover and though sexy, I find the faces around her rather funny. The title of the chapter is "Pleasure and Agony," and it is sort of an ecchi-like chapter. The chapter kicked off right after Makarov's death with Rogue and Minerva looking quite beaten but otherwise relieved to be alive. Sorano and Yukino, on the other hand, looked confused but was grateful that their enemies have been completely diminished.
While the two sisters and Lector and Frosch rejoicing about defeating their enemies, when lo and behold, a god-like creature made an appearance. They see Larcade on top of a hill looking over them. He wasn't too happy that Zeref's soldiers were killed and he is out to seek revenge. Yukino realized that he was a Shield of Spriggan and Sorano thinks that it will be hard for Larcade to beat the two of them.
Well, Sorano was mistaken. Larcade cast his "Pleasure Magic" on them and they were suffering in both agony and pleasure. However, it seems like his spell cannot distinguish an ally from an enemy.
August, on the other hand, does not seem to be affected as he was shown to have defeated Jellal and the rest of the group. He then commented that Larcade's power is dull for battle.
In another scene, Eileen has confronted Erza. She repeated to Erza that they are one and the same right before she felt the effects of Larcade's magic. She took it as an opportunity to let Natsu, Juvia, and Lucy to escape. She opted to stay behind for some answers. Eireen tried to attack them to no avail and was a bit mad that they are not suffering from the spell like her.
Meanwhile, Zeref seems to have been affected by spell too. Zeref telepathically told him to stop it and as he did, he explained to Yukino that the ones affected are those who have "already tasted the forbidden fruit of pleasure." Since he seems to have not been affected, Larcade attacked him again using tentacles. The tentacles took hold of her, Lector, and Frosh and gave them pleasure. Luckily, Kagura arrives and freed them off the vines. He asked Larcade why he is serving Zeref to which he replied that the Black Mage is his father.
"Fairy Tail" Chapter 509 Spoilers
I think it is safe to assume that Erza and Eileen will finally battle it out. Or at least give us some answers. It's been prolonged for too long. Again, are they the same people or are they relatives? But being the next chapter's title is "Kagura Vs. Larcade" I sort of lost hope that I will finally get to know the real deal between Erza and Eileen.
On the other hand, rumor has it that Yukino and Angel will offer their help to Kagura. She will then task the two to find the remaining Spriggan members. Kagura will try to fight Larcade using her Archenemy sword but Larcade will leave critical damage on her.
