"South Park" season 20, episode 7 was a roller coaster for both fans and the producers. For one, producers' predictions on the presidential race went wrong so they had to quickly retitle the controversial episode this week from "The Very First Gentleman" to "Oh, Jeez" to re-echo Donald Trump's win. Amid the last minute changes in the plot, Matt Stone and Trey Parker were highly praised for pulling off such a delightful episode.
From "The Very First Gentleman" To "Oh, Jeez"
"South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker had never seen it coming. Episode 7 originally titled "The Very First Gentleman" was later changed to "Oh, Jeez" a couple of hours before the show's airtime last Wednesday night, Nov. 9. Critically speaking, some scenes in "Oh, Jeez" were apparently reworked. Considering the cameo of Bill Clinton was already spoiled, the episode plot could have revolved around him. Even so, Stone and Parker received a wave of accolade following their brave and genius comedic skills.
Hillary Sets Up Cartman And Other Trolls
On the other hand, it was previously predicted that Hillary will be able to track down Gerald whom she will ask for help to win the election. Instead, Hillary sent Gerald, secretly known as Skankhunt42, to Denmark to steal their technology. Only to find out when he got there, he had been set up by the American and Danish governments along with the other trolls. What's coming up next for these internet trolls who have been causing great distress in Fort Collins?
Cartman And Heidi Mars Plans
Overwhelmed by the fact that the world is about to experience its greatest fall (because of Trump's win, perhaps?), Cartman convinced Heidi to move out to Mars. Surprisingly, Cartman's crazy ideas sit well with intelligent Heidi. It seems hard to imagine how creators will do that, but given the crisis-tested skills of Stone and Parker, this new chapter of Cartman and Heidi looks way more interesting than Hillary's loss.
"South Park" season 20, episode 8 airs Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 10:00 p.m. ET on Comedy Central.
