The recent presidential elections result has led to many Americans protesting the win of the Republican candidate, Donald Trump. Some of the Hollywood stars have shared their empathy among themselves at Trump's win, but Lady Gaga more than ever as she continues her protest in public.
Lady Gaga Openly Protests Donald Trump As The Next President Of The United States Less Than 24 Hours After Announcement
Lady Gaga has been openly campaigning for the democrat candidate, Hillary Clinton, during the campaign period. Thus, after it was announced that Donald Trump won the presidential race and shall be named the 45th president of the United States, she was expectedly in dismay along with many other Americans. The day after the announcement was made, she went to New York City and led the protest, and with her were approximately 100,000 more Americans who disagree with the results.
Lady Gaga was in protest along with the LGBT and Black community, saying that all they have fought for the past eight years should not be easily disregarded. These communities have fought hard to be accepted in society and all their efforts shall then be put to the drain once Donald Trump sits in office. Thus, she, along with the others, strongly protest Trump winning the elections even though the results may seem to have been finalized already. In addition to that, Hillary Clinton already conceded.
Lady Gaga Stands By The Side Of The LGBT And Black Community Among Distress
The singer travelled to the Trump Tower to show her protest, posting a photo of herself on social media standing outside the building and holding up a sign that says "Love Trumps Hate." Despite knowing that their protests might not change anything as the results have already been there, it seems enough for these people to share their advocacies in fear that they will then again be belittled having a president who is against the LGBT and Black community. Donald Trump has openly shared his views in such, saying that people like them definitely don't belong in America.
