Nina Dobrev Returns To 'The Vampire Diaries' Neither As Katherine Or Elena But As Villain To Kill Salvatore Brothers?

The return of actress Nina Dobrev to "The Vampire Diaries" has been one of the hottest issues currently being discussed these past few weeks. With the series already coming to an end, many have been wondering how the actress will return and whose character she will be portraying.

Nina Dobrev To Return In "The Vampire Diaries" As A Whole New Character Entirely?

Fans of Nina Dobrev have been arguing over the internet whether or not she returns on "The Vampire Diaries" as Katherine to set things straight with Stefan or as Elena to have a happy ending with Damon. Even though some of the fans are still strongly pushing Elena with Stefan, by the looks of the progress of the storyline, it is highly unlikely that it will happen. She was put to rest in love with Damon, and she just can't wake up deciding that she would want to be with Stefan.

However, despite the push that the fans have made to reunite Damon with Elena before the series comes to an end, there are reports that Dobrev will come back to the series as neither one of her previous characters. It has been reported that she will return as an ally to the season's greatest villain, Sybil, perhaps another version of her somehow will come to Mystic Falls, trick the Salvatore brothers and end up killing them. Since there hasn't been any confirmation or synopsis yet to her return, these are all merely speculations.

Damon And Stefan Salvatore To Die In The Series Finale Of "The Vampire Diaries"; No Such Thing As Happy Endings

This was led by the interview that was conducted with Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley who play Damon and Stefan Salvatore; respectively. They both shared their personal thoughts on how "The Vampire Diaries" should end and they both share the same thoughts: the series to end with their death. Although they have different ideas as to how, they both think that happy endings don't really happen in Mystic Falls and that all the trouble will finally end when their lives do.
