Apple News: iPhone 6 And 6S Bricking?

Apple is once again in the hot seat as the iPhone 6 and 6S are being reported for bricking. These two mobile phones are from the last season but the said damage just started getting reported recently. Do take note that these reports come from China and the CCA (China Consumers Association) has already acknowledged the issue.

Apple iPhone 6 And 6S Shut Down Irregularly

According to a report from Phone Arena, CCA has already requested Apple to do an investigation regarding the reports of bricked 6 and 6S iPhone units. It was said that users who encountered this problem report of having their phones shut down despite being more than 50 percent charged. There are also users who say that their devices shut down in low-temp environments.

Most of the people who reported this incident say that they have had problems turning their phones on once it unexpectedly shut down. Even if they plug the phones into their chargers, the iPhones still do not turn on. Needless to say, the brick plague of the iPhone 6 and 6S in China is pretty much undeniable. As per a Reuters report, Apple did not comment on this matter yet.

Apple And Samsung's Fate In China

Apple may be the most popular name when it comes to the US market but the company isn't exactly number one in the biggest smartphone market. Apparently, China isn't exactly a fan of the Apple brand. Even Samsung has problems dominating the said country. The Note 7 issues certainly did not help the company's aim to lead China's smartphone market. Needless to say, local mobile phone manufacturers like Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo and the likes are all bigger names in China compared to Apple and Samsung. With incidents like the iPhone bricking and Samsung's recall, the situation of the two companies are still less likely to improve in China anytime soon.
