"The Young and the Restless" has a new head writer and Sally Sussman's vision for the show will start to unravel by Dec. 7. Reports suggest that these changes are quite noticeable. Among the biggest storyline changes in the CBS daytime soap involves Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and a new man in her life. The latest buzz suggests that Ashley's new flame would be "The Bold and the Beautiful's" Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
"The Young And The Restless" New Storyline
With no available bachelor in Genoa City, someone needs to be introduced to the show if Ashley gets a new romance. Reports suggest that Sussman wants to rectify this and there will be a new guy in town that will catch Ashley's eye.
"The Bold and the Beautiful's" Bad Boy
Although there has been no confirmation from CBS, the latest social media buzz suggests that the new guy in Ashley's life will be Deacon from B&B. Deacon's appearances on the soap have been scarce ever since he escaped Quinn Fuller's (Rena Sofer) murder attempt. Since he has no active plotline in the soap as of now, it is possible that he will make his way to Genoa City and become Ashley's new romance.
Kana retweeted a fan's comment that the actor will make his way to "The Young and the Restless" which fueled more rumors that he would be part of "The Young and the Restless" soon. Deacon is a good candidate for Ashley since he is such a bad choice for someone to have a romantic relationship with. Ashley has been vocal over her brothers' poor choices when it comes to love and if she falls for someone who is totally unsuitable, she will not hear the end of it.
This would be an interesting pairing but it remains to be seen if CBS decides to push through with bringing "The Bold and the Beautiful" star to Genoa City for "The Young and Restless" crossover.
