Dota 2 is slated to roll out with the all-new Monkey King complete with four new special powers like the Echo Sweep and the Flicker. In the meantime, Valve recently released a 156MB update that reportedly added the Third Fall Treasure to the game. New sets of the Winter Wyvern and the Ember Spirit, among others are to be expected.
The legendary Monkey King has been branded as the new Dota 2 hero. The developers previously released a trailer of the new hero. However, Valve is yet to reveal the new hero's stats and abilities. In the meantime, the Monkey King's previous abilities can still be found on the 6.80 beta Gamepedia.
Dota 2 Monkey King is expected to roll out with the Echo Sweep. Here the Monkey King will unleash his spirit, sweeping the ground and dealing damage. All his foes will reportedly be hit with a single attack from an illusion.
Next is the Flicker where the Monkey King in Dota 2 may perform a quick dash. He will be leaving behind a trail of illusions as well. This is aimed at attacking anyone in one's wake.
Another Dota 2 Monkey King power is the Nimble Nimbus where his illusions will try to vault over the target on each hit, swapping positions. His Cloud Dance can also immobilize the Target hero. The update including the new hero may roll out on Dec. 12, 2016.
Meanwhile, a recent Dota 2 update concluded the seasonal Twin Forks bonus quest. Furthermore, the 156MB also came with the Fall Treasure III. The third treasure reportedly offers new sets for the Ember Spirit, Winter Wyvern, Templar Assassin, Lich and the Bloodseeker.
Dota 2 treasures are said to be free of charge. Note that there will be a low chance of getting a set for Undying and Shadow Fiend. On another note, players may need to get the Battle Pass to levels 13, 19 and 46 first. Additionally, players may opt to purchase the treasures for £1.59 a pop.
