'Cars 3' 2017 Plot Spoilers: New Lead Character Supersede Lightning McQueen?

After five long years of waiting, "Car" movie lovers were finally able to watch the official teaser video of Cars 3. It might have been expected but, it was not something everyone was happy with. Rather, it was a dreadful clip which leads viewers musing about a possible new plot and star of the movie.

This have been a long time waiting for the official announcement of Cars' third sequel. But, unlike the previous films where Lightning McQueen was seen racing competition, fans witnessed him on a shocking crash in the pavement. Thus, several theories online about the film's storyline surfaces.

Does McQueen Car Crash Signifies Retirement?

My first premonition states that there will be a new character. It will be introduced in the franchise to take over the role of McQueen. Leading and fastest race car character in Radiator Spring might retire soon from devastating accident. Lightning, on the positive side, will now be the Doc Hudson training that might "the rookie" become a "pro" at its best.

If that will be the case, then that will explain also the quote "From this moment everything will change". Now, who could it be? In the teaser 20-second clip below. You will notice a black car with an "IGNTR" sticker on its bumper over taking all his competitors for the win. Could it be, he is the replacement in the movie that Lightning will teach.

But, another possible definition of this Cars 3 teaser appeared online. Rumor has it, that the clip hints that Lightning will be having a new look in the third sequel of the franchise. Meantime, the IGNTR car is the villain in the movie which cause Lightning to crash while racing.

Fans can also make several interpretations from this Cars 3 teaser below. But, the producers have kept their mouth shut about the plot themselves.
