The most-awaited "Gilmore Girls" revival is finally coming to Netflix tomorrow and the actors who have been part of the series are also just as excited as the fans to see the result of the revival. Actor Milo Ventimiglia who plays Jess on the show shares his experiences on returning to Stars Hollow.
Milo Ventimiglia Psyched To Return To Stars Hollow As Jess Mariano In The "Gilmore Girls" Revival; Will He End Up With Rory After All?
One of the beloved characters of the series "Gilmore Girls" while it aired was the character of Milo Ventimiglia, Jess Mariano. He was the typical bad boy who fell in love with the small town girl, and yet despite how typical the plotline was, there was always something unpredictable about his character. Despite being a series regular only until the third season, and only coming back for cameo appearances as the series progresses, Jess and Rory has always had unfinished business between them. Jess was the only one who knew and accepted Rory for everything that she was, and for what she was not.
Thus, after Ventimiglia confirmed that Jess is indeed coming back for the "Gilmore Girls" revival, he was just as psyched as the fans were. The fans of the show are still rooting for Rory to end up with him, as he has been the favourite of all her boyfriends. As a way of declaring gratitude to the fans for all their support, Ventimiglia never hesitated in returning for the revival, and even appeared in the show's official trailer. This has then led to the assumptions that the audience will be seeing more of him than expected, and fingers-crossed, to end up with Rory as well.
More Of Jess And Luke's Mature Interactions In The Upcoming "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life"
As for his relationship with his Uncle Luke, both Scott Patterson and Milo Ventimiglia as Luke and Jess respectively on the show believe that they have both grown up already. They are now two men interacting when they return in the "Gilmore Girls" revival, unlike in the past when they have always had a love-hate relationship. Needless to say, fans are certainly hoping to see more of those two bachelors and hopefully end up marrying the "Gilmore Girls."
