Rogers was the first carrier to offer the Windows Phone 8-powered Nokia Lumia 920 in Canada. Currently, the carrier is only selling the red, white, and black versions of the phone but soon the Lumia 920 will also be available in yellow.
Released in November last year, Nokia Lumia 920 is one of the most popular WP8-powered devices and the availability of the smartphone in a range of vibrant colors has enticed many smartphone users.
"We're excited to announce that we'll be offering the Nokia Lumia 920 in red, white and yellow," confirmed Rogers on Jan. 15.
"If you've been holding out for this flavour it won't be much longer now. According to the internal doc we received it shows that stores will soon be receiving stock... so online sales should go live within the next couple days," reported Mobile Syrup.
Rumors also indicate that the yellow version of the smartphone will be available from Rogers at a price tag of $599.99 outright on a month-to-month plan or $49.99 on a three-year contract. The price is the same when compared to other colors of the smartphone available on Rogers.
If you are an existing Rogers customer you can also reserve the yellow variant of the Lumia 920 by visiting Roger's Reservation System.
The Lumia 920 was released in November 2012 and many top-end smartphones, including WP8-powered handsets are expected to be released this year. It will be interesting to see if the yellow Nokia Lumia 920 attracts more customers to the carrier.
