Pokemon Sun and Moon are jam-packed with the best Pokemon from its previous games. With new features in tow, it has upgraded into what seems like the most interesting Pokemon game we've had so far. On top of this list is a slew of new Pokemon to catch. If you are a beginner, starting out might be a bit overwhelming. We have provided a few tips to help you catch three Pokemon namely: Pikipek, Trumbeak and Toucannon.
Pikipek is a flying Pokemon that evolves into Trumbeak once it reaches level 14 and into Toucannon after level 28. Although it might sound easier to evolve Pikipek into these two types, there might be another way to have them. Here are the locations of each of these Pokemon in the Region of Alola in Sun and Moon.
How To Catch Pikipek
Pikipek is a normal/flying-type woodpecker Pokémon. Its gray pointed beak can crush its foes 16 times per second. This allows it to not only drill through wood but shatter the stone as well. The Pokemon feeds on berries, whose leftover seeds become the ammunition for attacks it fires off its mouth. The hole it drills on trees is also used to store food and build a nest. Pikipek can be found in the booth games on Routes 4, 5, 6 and 8.
Pikipek can also be snagged through acquiring its QR code. Do note that for every 10 QR codes a player gets, the Island Scan feature appears. In the said feature, players will be given the location of every rare Pokemon not listed in the game. They are given a chance to hunt the particular Pokemon in an hour.
How To Catch Trumbeak In Pokemon Sun And Moon
When Pikipek reaches level 14, it evolves into Trumbeak. It is a type of Pokemon introduced in Generation 7. Also known as the Bugle Beak Pokemon, the evolved character eats berries and stores their seeds in its beak. Upon encountering enemies, it fires off all the seeds in a burst. By bending its beak, it can produce a variety of calls and brand itself a noisy nuisance for its neighbors. Trumbeak can be found by walking in a grass or cave on Route 8, 11, Lush Jungle, Poni Grove and Poni Plains.
How To Catch Toucannon
Toucannon would make a strong companion in Pokemon Sun and Moon. In order to have it, you must start with its base Pokemon, Pikipek that can be snagged early on in the game. Toucannon can become a very mean and strong warrior-bird given enough time, its high attack stat that can crush its enemies in seconds. The only way to have it is by knowing how to level up fast. This can be achievable in a days time or maybe a week.
