A gigantic foundation update has just been implemented for No Man's Sky. It now has radically expanded the previously hyped space exploration video game's list. Developer Hello Games also promised more features to come after a period of long silence.
A speculation has surfaced over the internet today as it is expected that No Man's Sky will feature land vehicles, buggies for one are expected to be in the game anytime soon. The humongous 'Foundation Update' has already added buildings, farming, freighters, and creative options. Another big surprise came in a form of survival mode.
The download size for the Foundation Update reached 2.7GB which constitutes a size of a full game. Shows that the developers behind the game are working round-the-clock to make up for the big flop it had days after it initially launched.
No Man's Sky has now been patched with its big Foundation Update, which adds base building, freighters, farming, options for creative and survival modes and a lot more. More information about this is posted on their blog post.
On top of that, Sean Murray, who was the target for most of the criticism after the flop, has posted a tweet after days of silence:
About the space buggy on data mined
A Redditor who goes by the name of eegandj uncovered the game files with mentions of a buggy vehicle, tire tracks, and tires for No Man's Sky. They also created a mod that would allow players to check out the blueprint of the vehicle in the game. It is important to note that as of this writing, the buggy is not operational in-game.though it's far from operational at this point.
Although unconfirmed, it would be safe to bet that the observed buggy will make an appearance within the game along with other speculated land-based vehicles. No Man's Sky is redeeming itself with the Foundation Update and it should get back on top when other cool features get released like land vehicles. Beats walking the whole planet any day.
