"The Vampire Diaries" is currently airing the last season of the series, season eight, and it has been filled with thrill, mystery and romance. Now that Damon is currently still under the prowess of Sybil, theory states that he may end up killing his loved ones.
Sybil Kidnaps Alaric's Twins; Caroline Struggling And Losing Options On How To Save Them
Just before the show took their holiday break, "The Vampire Diaries" season eight currently revealed that Alaric's new nanny, Seline was actually the siren. Thus, upon finding out her true identity, Alaric and Caroline rush back to home only to find out that the twins are already gone, Seline having taken them already. It has been hinted out that the twins are currently under Damon's captivity, but they could not trust him at this point since he is still under the control of Sybil. Caroline then struggles to protecting the twins, and desperately trying to figure out how to save them.
Damon May Kill His Loved Ones Under Sybil's Control In "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8
Damon, on the other hand, has made a request to Sybil to set him free. However, his plea was denied and it even got her more upset knowing that Damon is desperate to be free of her. Thus, there are reports that Damon is going to kill is loved ones upon the order of Sybil, even his brother Stefan. He will allegedly set a trap for the latter, and fans can't wait to see if he could really do it, kill the one person he wanted the most to protect. While Damon struggles with Sybil, Enzo is busy creating a plan to stop the latter's evil plans.
Do The Salvatore Brothers Deserve A Happily Ever After?
As for talks of happy endings, both Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder believe that it is unlikely for their characters as Stefan and Damon respectively to ever get a happily ever after by the end of "The Vampire Diaries." According to Paul, he is not sure if Stefan will end up happily with Caroline or not, especially now that they are engaged. He personally thinks that at the end of the show, the Salvatore brothers just throw off their daylight ring and burn under the heat of the sun.
