Final Fantasy XV: A Complete Guide To Elemancy

In Final Fantasy XV, one of the major features of the game is elemancy which allows you to craft spells. These spells can aid your team during combat by boosting your abilities.

In order to craft spells in Final Fantasy 15, you need to search for elemental energy and magic flasks in the map. Flasks are important items because these are where you mix and concoct the elements and other crafting materials. Here are more information about the other spells.

Fira

Some Final Fantasy 15 spells need you to balance two or more of the elements. For example, if you want to concoct a Fira, but you only have an available 80 Fire, you can use 79 points of either lighting or ice not both. This will allow you to create what you want without changing the spell into something else.

If you go over 50 percent of these elements, then the element of the spell will change. Also, it will take two of a different elements to go up one potency point for mixed spells. For example, if you want to create Blizzara, you have to combine 99 ice elemental points and 2 points fire, and 2 points lightning.

Thundara

Moreover, if you want to get Thundara in Final Fantasy XV, you have to mix 98 ice and 99 lightning. However, if you add 2 fire points, you are changing the recipe and you get Unicast II.

Venomcast

To create a venomcast, you need an antidote and an element. This cast will hit enemies and give them the poisoned status as they slowly lose their health.

Failcast

You need iron shavings and an element. This FFXV cast sometimes misses the target and considered as a major fail. However, it has an increased potency for a major elemental damage.

Dual/Tricast/Quadast/Quincast

Dualcast requires an element and a remedy or sheep milk in Final Fantasy XV. Tricast needs Phoenix Down, Elixir, Hi-Elixir, or Sweet Pepper, and an element. Quadcast should have Mega Phoenix and an element. Quincast must have Megaelixir and an element.
