Its developer, Vicarious Visions, has released a trailer for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which is a remastered version of the first three Crash Bandicoot games like Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. However, Dan Tanguay of Vicious Visions has a different view about the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

Tanguay, who is the game's director, said that he is not just considering the game as a remake. He knows how people love the original games, that is why he is not considering to fully remake the original games so the N. Sane Trilogy is a remaster plus.

The rebuilt levels is based on the original geometry. Its rebuilt characters are following the original designs while its rebuilt cinematics is inspired by the originals. The game has unified checkpointing and save game system, and it includes manual and auto-saving system, according to iDigital Times.
