Final Fantasy XV experienced success during its first week since its launching date and it has already shipped around five million copies all over the world. Its game director, Hajime Tabata revealed the outline as to how the few months will go about for the game. This is in line with their celebration for the game's new milestone.
Tabata mentioned that there will more updates coming in for the game, and its post-launched plan will now include more of these updates. There were revelations about the short, mid, and long term plans that the developers intend for the game, thus fans are given specific road map as to what they will be expecting.
Tabata said that their team listened to fans' ideas regarding the further enhancement of the game experience, thus they will provide free updates for the game throughout the whole year. These updates are additions to the content that was previously announced. One of their early plans was to enrich specific aspects of the game.
There will be gameplay enhancements for the Chapter 13, buffing ring magic, and some more. The specific details will be revealed at a later date. Tabata also said that after these enhancements, they will be delving deeper into the content of the story, thus they will be adding scenes which will give the players a new view about the motivation of the character like how Ravus has taken the path that he has come to choose.
Their long term plans include making some key characters playable, and they are also considering the idea of integrating customizable avatars as additions to the other features that they are already planning to have. All of the abovementioned updates will be offered for free, according to VG247. The developers are also talking about new features that they will add to the game, such as how to start a New Game, the addition of new items for different play styles, and more.
