Assassin's Creed 2 Patch Was Able To Completely Remove NPC From the Game
Assassin's Creed 2 had an NPC, specifically in the Boys Will Be Boys chapter. Based on reports, the original title had darker graphics, which explains why the NPC's face was not noticeable.
The gamers have reportedly tried to record the NPC footage in Assassin's Creed 2, but Ubisoft announced the NPC in the sequence was randomly selected, which means players would, in fact, likely see him. The game developer also clarified that it is possible not to see the NPC even after numerous plays, considering that the NPC is rarely produced.
Assassin's Creed 2 patch 1.02, however, brought fix to the strange face NPC issue, which will not be seen anymore in the Assassin's Creed 2's coding and eventually in the sequence as well. Instead, other NPCs are said to be randomly selected to appear in the same spot.
Meantime, the Assassin's Creed 2 1.02 patch release comes only days prior the release of the live-action movie adaptation that stars Michael Fassbender. The movie is set to release on Friday, Dec. 21.
