An unofficial statement leaked out from China that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with 8GB of RAM, up from the 6GB figure we've been hearing so far. The speculations came from some sources, who tipped and posted on one of his social media accounts said to have a decent record when it comes to Samsung-related leaks.
Samsung Galaxy Will Come In Two Sizes: 5-inch, And 6-inch
A recent report from the tech giant's home country of South Korea said that the smartphone will come in two sizes which are around 5-inch (Galaxy S8) and the second is 6-inch (Galaxy S8 Plus). Both are set to be unveiled at an event in New York in April. The increase in display size could not make the device bigger substantially as Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has been tipped to come with very thin bezels or bezel-less. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus smartphone is said to launch alongside the Galaxy S8 that as we said is believed to sport a 5-inch display.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Processors and Features
Just recently, there were rumors rounding up of Samsung that include the introduction of Beast Mode with the Galaxy S8. The upcoming feature was spotted in a trademark application from Europe, though not much else is known about it at this point. It may somehow leverage the performance of the top-end SoC expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 aside from the whopping 8GB of RAM. The rumor noted that the phone will run an in-house SoC, produced using the 10nm process. It also says that the device will also feature UFS 2.1 flash storage.
The Galaxy S8 Plus is more likely to be the obvious choice for the massive amount of RAM and needless to say, it'll also be highest seen on a smartphone so far. As these details are not yet confirmed, we will have to wait for an official word from the company for any confirmation about the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. Stay tuned for more updates.
