Battlefield 2 Total Conversion Mod Is Now Live; Future Multiplayer Support Incoming?

DICE released the latest new entry for the Battlefield 1 series, and this lets players take on the experience of what it's like during World War I. However, if you may want to experience other war scenarios, the latest release for Battlefield 2 total conversion mod Battlefield: Korea may also be a great option.

According to the report from WCCFTech, Battlefield: Korea is a total conversion mod that has been set within the 1950-1953 Korean War that is also called the Forgotten War. There is a trailer that was released for its launch. The author for this mod said that Battlefield: Korea currently has a single player campaign and more other features.

All of its maps have support for bots, and it can be played in any manner the player likes. It has a traditional single player or it can start as a lone co-op game which can let the player have great control over a lot of its options. It is like the IDF mod, similar to what most mods have, thus it has an option that gives players a choice on how they want to play the game.

A code was added so that the game could be started with 0 players. Even though multiplayer is currently not supported, once the mod can still become stable enough, the servers will be put up. If the developers can see to it that the game will have no more crashes, then multiplayer mode might be supported.

Forgotten Honor Tournament has shown interest in hosting an event for the game. However, there is a concern about crashes or unexpected errors that the game might be experiencing, thus there is a need to put up additional servers for this to be avoided.
