Yes, A Sheep Is Coming To Ark: Survival Evolved Soon

Studio Wildcard is known for releasing Ark: Survival Evolved updates with tons of interesting stuff. From new features to fixes to balance changes to new set of Dinosaurs, these are what fans usually expect. But hey, this time it's going to be a little different. It's so different that players will be surprised a sheep is arriving to the game.

It's worth noting that the Ark: Survival Evolved developer iterated in the past that Ovis Aries will be arriving to the title. The only catch is if the studio wins the "Best Use of a Farm Animal" award in the ongoing Steam awards. And voila, this happened in a swift.

According to GameRant, Studio Wildcard's statements didn't sit well to most fans of Ark: Survival Evolved. Most, if not all, believe that the company is trying to bribe the community. As a result, the fandom threatened to boycott the highly celebrated title. This is where things start to get interesting.

In hopes to mitigate the issue with Ark: Survival Evolved fans, the studio has decided to release the sheep to the game. This was revealed in a statement, assuring the fans that the devs are feeling the "excitement' of releasing the aforesaid animal. Heck, the company even admitted that doing so is a great way to connect to the community.

It should be noted that the release of the sheep to Ark: Survival Evolved is already inevitable. So whether or not the studio wins the aforementioned award, players can expect this wool-ish friend in the form of Ovis Aries to arrive soon. The animal's debut is expected in the forthcoming major version update.

The uproar of the Ark: Survival Evolved fans is completely understandable. First off, the studio has yet to deliver its promise of completing the game. Remember that, as of this writing, it's still in a developmental state. While players can still play and enjoy the game, it's undeniable that there are lots of missing features and whatnots.
