Overwatch Mei Glitch Latest News And Updates: Players Who Discover And Use This Bug To Break The Game Will Be Banned?

Bugs would eventually surface and affect Overwatch since it is a huge video game full of countless numbers of interactions and amazing graphics. This problem recently surfaced with the Overwatch Mei glitch. Apparently, there's a player or players who discovered this glitch and exploited it to break or cheat the game.

The Glitch Was Found In One Of The New Maps

The cheats spread and players began to push the shooter and are now trying to win matches through this Overwatch Mei glitch. This particular Mei bug was discovered by tricky and sneaky players on Ecopoint: Antartica, which is a new map added to the game. It is Mei's old research facility where she was frozen cryogenically.

However, it now appears that there's a glitch in the map. That bug enables Mei to go inside restricted areas and launch attacks through the walls. In other words, the bug gives Mei an unfair advantage. It seems this Overwatch Mei glitch has already spread since official players as well as those who are connected with Reddit are reporting the same thing.

The existence of this Overwatch Mei glitch was proven during a three-on-three game match on Ecopoint: Antartica. It was discovered that a Mei on one of the teams was able to access a restricted area by using her Ice Wall ability. That particular Mei then started attacking the other team through the walls of the map.

The Consequences of Being Caught Exploiting The Overwatch Mei Glitch Is Nasty

The consequence of a player caught exploiting this Overwatch Mei glitch is dire and dreadful. Blizzard is known to ban gamers forever from the game if they use exploits to cheat or break the game. Players need to remember that in July, Blizzard found that there were players who were using Genji to crash the game.

These players were forever banned from the game as soon as Blizzard found who they were. Even those who were just testing the glitch were also meted the same punishment. This could be the same treatment that players can expect from Blizzard if they even just try to exploit this Overwatch Mei glitch to their advantage.
