Microsoft executives are priming Xbox fans to be excited about 2017, even telling fans to be ready to unleash their beast mode. There is a lot of reason, of course, to be excited about from games to updates and, of course, the Project Scorpio.
The top executives of Microsoft did not waste any time when 2017 enters and they took social media by storm with posts and tweets. It seems like most of them are all hyped up this year. Why not when this is the year when the much-awaited Xbox Project Scorpio will be launched.
Josh Stein tweets his excitement and called 2017 the "year of the Scorpio." Aaron Greenberg, on the other hand, asked fans if they are ready for the beast.
All superlative titles have been affixed to the Xbox Project Scorpio with some calling it the most powerful and most expensive gaming console when it comes. Since there haven't been any specific and official information from Xbox yet, a lot of speculations and rumors have surrounded it.
In terms of specs and power, it has been confirmed already that the Project Scorpio packs a whopping 6TFLOPS, 4K gaming, and VR. Its VR capabilities are rumored to run at 90FPS and that it will not run Xbox games which are currently at 1080 FPS. Another speculation is that it would be powered by 14 nm Polaris and Zen SoC for 4K gaming.
With this power, many are then predicting that Xbox Project Scorpio price will start at around $599. According to Phil Spencer in earlier interviews, the Project Scorpio is meant for those who are willing to pay a higher price for a much better quality.
The Project Scorpio will not be launched until in the later part of 2017 but Microsoft is already priming the market for it. Until then, it will just be a wait and see until they finally unveil all the specific information about the console.
