Here’s The List Of The Worst Video Games Of 2016

Year 2016 has offered gamers tons of exciting new titles from the very start of the year. Some performed well while some underperformed and were unable to meet the expectations. Since the year has officially ended, we provided a list of game titles from last year that did not receive positive reviews from the gaming community.

Based on the report from Game Rant, 2016 is no different from the past years where there were lots of ups and downs on the performance of each launched game title. The report mentioned that it is a busy year for gaming as several old franchises made their return to produce new output for their long-time fans. In addition, gamers were also given some nostalgic experiences by having some of the games from the past remastered for the modern day consoles.

However, it is quite inevitable that there are unappealing games released this year. First on the list is Ghostbusters. This classic franchise was given a reboot this year and unfortunately, it is quite well-praised by the fans. Following the release of the film, a new game title was released which applied the top-down shooter similar to the previous Ghostbusters games. However, the latest entry did not deliver as expected.

Next on the list is Robinson: The Journey. Virtual Reality has been apparent these days and lots of game titles adopted to this new gaming environment. Though some have succeeded but others were quite a disappointment, including this sci-fi technology game title. The game might be gorgeous to look at, however, fans found themselves frustrated by the complicated puzzles present in the game.

Other game titles included in the list are Mighty No.9, 7 Days To Die, Back in 1995, Hyrule Warrirors Legends, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants of Manhattan, No Man's Sky and surprisingly, the augmented reality game from Niantic, Pokemon Go. It was reported that this was quite expected since Niantic failed to please their fans during the game's peak.
