Here's Why Elon Musk Loves And Highly Recommends Overwatch

Aside from engineering the future of technology, what does the genius and billionare, Elon Musk do during his leisure? Well, it's what most boys do - playing computer games! And in his recent interview, the CEO and founder of SpaceX has explicitly stated that he loves Overwatch and he'd gladly recommend the game to any fan that hasn't tried it yet. Here's why.

Elon Musk on Overwatch

In an interview with Y Combinator's Sam Altman, Elon Musk gave his sentiments about the problems of the current games and why he'd choose and recommend Overwatch on his fans. According to him, modern games have lost one of its most important aspects and that is, storytelling. The insufficient lore to entice its fans and to keep the game in sustaining has withered the hyped of some of the prominent titles in the past.

He then continued by mentioning Deus Ex as an example and commented that while the game at its original release was a masterpiece, the consequent expansions seemed to be lacking of a rich content (story wise) and that made the game, for him, to be 'lame.'

Overwatch on the other hand, offers lore contents to its fans albeit still on its development stage. To Elon Musk, this is the filled where Blizzard shines the most - creating a deeper connection and relationship from its community and their beloved in-game characters. Added to the fact that Overwatch constantly received positive reviews from its fans, Musk, without any signs of hesitation, recommended Overwatch when asked about the game that he would recommend to the viewers.

Who Does Elon Musk Play As In Overwatch?

Following the interview, Musk was asked by Gizmodo via Twitter, who he specifically plays in Overwatch to which the CEO of SpaceX replied: "It's too embarrassing."

His reply isn't straight forward and until he reveals his favorite hero, we can only guess - unless it was an encrypted message that actually insinuates an embarrassing hero to play with... Probably Bastion? It's got to be Bastion.
