Pokemon GO Players Can Now Tell Niantic What Events To Hold This Year

Pokemon GO players can finally tell Niantic want it wants in the game. This is true with regards to what kind of events to hold this year.

Niantic Is Listening

Pokemon GO developer Niantic is currently asking players what kind of events they want, according to their recent Facebook post. This is actually refreshing that the developer is interested in their players' view about the game.

Interest Waning Down

The game no longer had the massive appeal it once had during the first month or two of its release. Still millions are still playing it around the world. Niantic though managed to convinced casual players to come back due to the recent events it hosted. The Halloween, Christmas and New Year affairs sparked lots of interest and the developer is hosting a few more. Those events were successful since it provided rewards and frequent spawning of specific Pokemon. For example during the Halloween, ghost types like the Gastly, Haunter and Gengar were spawning everywhere.

Pokemon GO Players' Suggestion

The players responded enthusiastically although there were a lot of complaints mixed in as well. Some of the suggestions were related to upcoming holidays like Valentines and Easter. Some were more specific like a double item or regional migration events. Someone also proposed a Team Rockets event. Quite a lot have suggested the offering of substantial rewards for accomplishing certain tasks in the game.

Game Complaints

Many Pokemon GO players though posted their piques about the game. There were complaints about the in-game tracking and the gym bugs. Some are also getting impatient as to when all of Generation 2 is coming out.

Niantic Hosting Events

It's quite clear that Niantic is aware of the current game's status. We can only assume that the developer has a time table for the release of the entire generation 2. For now, it seems Niantic is contended in holding an event or two every now and then.
