The Pokemon Stars On Nintendo Switch
A new mainline of the Pokemon game, with a name as Pokemon Stars, is reportedly in development for Nintendo Switch and will release for the game console anytime soon. According to IGN, Game Freak is "well into development" on the 3rd version of the Pokemon Sun and Moon that will be called as Pokemon Stars. It is said to feature the same map, locales and art designs of the aforementioned 3DS games, but with more improved visuals.
The Pokemon Stars is also reportedly being built with separate and higher-resolution assets, one of which was shown in the announcement teaser for the Pokemon Sun and Moon that released back in February last year. During the video at the studio, several shots of concept art are given and a high-definition model of Pikipek that will apparently be used in the Pokemon Stars.
The Pokemon Stars Release Date On Nintendo Switch
Don't expect Pokémon Stars anytime soon, said Tech Mic. This is due to the Nintendo Switch's capabilities that the game could potentially require a total re-write of the game console's visuals. Unless that the designers of the game decided to simply smooth out a few of the game's rough edges, like what is in this fan-made HD remake of the current game.
Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon released somewhere in November last year for Nintendo 3DS. While Pokemon Stars was reportedly planned for release in summer this year. No exact date yet, but it has been reportedly pushed back to sometime later in the year.
“You will even be able to play Skyrim on the go, or Pokemon at home with the Nintendo Switch,” said GameStop from the report of BGR. This means that Nintendo Switch owners will have the ability to play a Pokemon game like they normally play on a mobile device on a home game console.
Available Games For The Nintendo Switch
Eurogamer noted some of the other games that will be available for Nintendo Switch. One of which is LEGO City Undercover. It will arrive in Spring 2017 and it is also anticipated to become available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Other than that, Rime, Project Sonic 2017, Just Dance 2017, Dragon Quest XI, Dragon Quest X, Seasons of Heaven, Stardew Valley, Cube Life: Island Survival and Constructor are the other video games that are expected to become accessible to Nintendo Switch.
Eurogamer also reports that players will be able to trade their Pokemon from Sun and Moon to this new Switch version with the Pokemon Bank app. Additionally, Pokemon Stars may feature additional creatures to collect, though this couldn't be confirmed by all of the outlet's sources.
Moreover, there are a lot of anticipations about the upcoming Nintendo Switch but then its launch is just around the corner so it is advised to just wait for the live-stream to avoid confusions.
