Horizon Zero Dawn will not have a feature that many AAA titles currently have. Fortunately, this is good news for interested players of the upcoming game.
Guerilla Games Did Not Include It
Horizon Zero Dawn developer Guerilla Games decided not to include microtransactions in the upcoming game. This may come as a pleasant surprise to many players accustomed to such features from many game titles.
Why No Microtransactions Included
There are a number of possible reasons why Guerilla Games is not adding the money making feature in Horizon Zero Dawn. The game is basically a single-player and microtransactions are usually present in titles with multiplayer modes. Then again, Assassin's Creed Unity has this feature even though it's mainly a single-player game.
The upcoming game is one of the developer's big budgeted games. Guerilla may think it's prudent to not upset players with microtransactions. This is also a feature that has been upsetting a lot of players from many AAA game titles.
Microtransactions Still Possible
Microtransactions are initially out of the game but it does not mean that Guerilla will not include the feature. There is a strong possibility that the developer will introduce it if it's financially feasible to do so.
