Both Assassin's Creed 4 and Watch Dogs will be making their way to the Xbox 720, according to Ubisoft developers.
Though Microsoft has not officially announced the titles for the Xbox 720, LinkedIn pages for two Ubisoft employees named both games as "X720" launch titles. The resume of Phil Brolles indicates that Watch Dogs will arrive on the console, while Paolo Maninetti's resume states that Assassin's Creed 4 will also arrive. Both games have already been officially confirmed for the PlayStation 4.
Other known games in development for the Xbox 720 are Ryse and Forza, which are being planned as launch titles. The delay of Ryse could wind up being a good thing after all, given that the Xbox 720 version should not only take advantage of the new console's boosted performance, but also its new features. Specific features for the system that Ryse is rumored to take advantage of include the sensors and body tracking technology.
"We are on track with all our plans," Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli told OXM.com earlier this year. "The game is really shaping up well, but that's pretty much all I can say at the moment."
It is rumored that Forza will make particularly good use of the Xbox 720's graphical capability.
Added to the mix are two other mysterious titles. One is a family adventure game that potentially takes advantage of Kinect sensing and scanning. Another is a zombie game. As of now, however, these titles are not confirmed.
A formal announcement of the Xbox 720 is rumored to be taking place in May.
