Overwatch News: Blizzard's Plan For Bastion Is Revealed

Overwatch players are excited to hear about Bastion's buffing. They have been asking Blizzard of its plans on updating the robot before. Finally, the developer has answered, and that an update is currently being processed.

What Will Happen With Overwatch's Bastion?

Geoff Goodman, designer of Overwatch, said that the team is planning to release an update for Bastion. The players should thank the player under the nickname of Rarithlynx because of his determination to use the misunderstood robot.

According to Polygon, Blizzard will make sure that Bastion's changes will be huge and will enable the robot to have defensive skills. The developer also revealed the tweaks that the robot will be receiving.

First is called the "Recon mode." The mode will help Bastion improve its viability by lowering the spread and by increasing the magazine size. Next, is the "Sentry mode," which is about increasing the speed and removing the headshots. However, Blizzard is still currently testing if the tweak will work or not, so those might not make it to the final update.

Lastly, Blizzard wants to buff Bastion's self-repair. As per Mic, the developer is encouraging the players to use this ability as a point of comparison. The players should watch out for the major improvements in the robot's self-repair.

Other Upcoming Features In Overwatch

According to Game Rant, Blizzard is planning to add new features in Overwatch. These include the improvement of saving feature and the upgrade of the reporting feature for the different platforms. However, players should wait for any announcement as to when will it be rolling out.

Meanwhile, have been eagerly waiting for an announcement if the Valentine's Day event in Overwatch will be implemented. For now, players have been enjoying the Year of the Rooster event and another upcoming event to look forward to is a bonus. Like any other updates though, players should wait for an official announcement from Blizzard.
