Ford has not been advertising in the Super Bowl for the last three years but it has decided to return this year with a new ad. As the Super Bowl kicks off this year, Ford has revealed its new ad titled "Go Further". Here's what the ad is all about.
Ford Targets Millions Of Audiences
According to report, the estimated number of audience in the U.S. is around 189 million and more than 17 percent of these audiences are adults that consider the commercials to be one of the most important segments in the Super Bowl. Given this fact, it simply makes sense that Ford comes back to advertise in one of the biggest events of the year with the largest audience. This gives the automaker a huge amount of exposure even though it would cost Ford $5 million for a 30-second advertisement.
Ford Says 'Go Further'
The commercial starts with a boy riding on a ski-lift and got stuck in the middle of the ascent. This was followed by a little girl looking at her kite stuck on a tree branch and a man dangling from the edge of his roof after his ladder was knocked down. Ford's "Go Further" ad also showed different people from different walks of life being stuck in different kinds of situations but were finally able to get out of it in the end.
According to report, Ford's ad basically says that the automaker is always coming up with new ways to get people out of a situation where they get stuck. These ways come in the form of new technology from self-driving cars, ride sharing and electric vehicles.
It Makes Perfect Sense
One of the lines in Ford's "Go Further" commercial was "no one likes being stuck" and that is perfectly true. Going further by being able to avoid these situations would certainly make things better. It appears that people have a lot to expect from Ford as the automaker continues to help make lives better for everyone.
