Grammy awards 2017 is just around the corner and the lists of nominees were already revealed. However, heavy favorites such as Beyonce and Adele should not be complacent as an upset is inevitable like what had happened a few years ago.
Beyonce And Adele Headline This Year's Grammy
Look no further as these two remarkable artists will go head to head on not only one, but four major award categories this year. Beyonce who just announced her pregnancy (twins) earlier this month will be having another chance to add 4 grammy awards under her illustrious career. On the other hand, Adele will try to dethrone Queen Bey with her Album, 25.
The margin between these two artists when it comes to sales or even popularity is just inches. For Beyonce’s Lemonade, the album sold 1.051 million copies, 5.4 million VEVO views, 93.4 million Instagram followers, and 14.7 million on Twitter. Adele, on the other hand, has 8.03 million albums sold, 5.4 million VEVO views, 23.6 Million IG followers, and an outstanding Twitter followers of 27.6 Million.
Adele and Beyonce are fighting for four Grammy Awards. Among them are Song of The Year and Album Of The Year. Last 2012, Adele tied the record when she was able to bag six grammy awards. She is the favorite between the two, but there's no guarantee in the Grammys. Will she upset Queen Bey and the beehives?
New Artist Award
There were a lot of stunning events that had happened during the Grammy Awards Night. Some suggest that Meghan Trainor will be the dark horse during the event due to her accomplishments last year. Also, Chance The Rapper is the heavy favorite for the New Artist award, but keep a close eye on the dynamic duo, The Chainsmokers. Don't forget to watch Lady Gaga and Metallica's performance as well.
