Gina Rodriguez As "Jane The Virgin"
The plot revolves around the lead character Jane Gloriana Villanueva played by Gina Rodriguez. Jane is a religious young Latina virgin, who becomes impregnated after being mistakenly inseminated artificially. The series is currently on its fourth season and was released last January 8, 2017. The season started with an enormous benchmark on Jane's life as she, with husband Michael played by Brett Dier, moved into their new house and finally makes love and became one.
On Monday's episode, Brett Dier's character is seen studying for the LSAT. However, on the day of the exam, Brett's character never made it home. Apparently, Michael dies of a shooting-related health complication (Michael is a former detective and has inflicted a gunshot wound at the end of Season 2) at the testing center leaving Jane behind as a widow.

The actor also addressed the cast and crew of the series stating that he will never forget them and that they are the most generous bunch of team he has ever worked with.
The actor also added that playing the role felt like it's already a part of him and that although it sounds loony, Michael will always be in his heart.
According to Dier, he found out about his character's death at the end of Season 2. "It was a weird feeling. Because even though I was kind of prepared, reality sunk in and I was like, "S-."
