FIFA 17 has only been released last September and already fans are hungry for more adrenaline-pumping, heart-pounding action from their favorite football teams. They have even more to look forward to with FIFA 17 Winter updates that promise to give boosts to Premier League players. It is expected to be wrapped in four different batches filled with surprises that will surely fill a gamer's appetite.
For those new to the FIFA gaming world, EA Sports, the developers behind the highly successful game, select a lucky few of the players to be given a stat boost. This can be in the form of speed or a new technique.
While the official roster of players that will be receiving the FIFA 17 Winter updates hasn't been revealed yet, that doesn't stop sites like the Dream Team FC from coming up with a list of players who will get a boost after excelling during the first half of the season.
Among those who are predicted to be given significant boosts are: Diego Costa, Chelsea's striker, who rose from an 85 to 86 (Philippe Coutinho has the same stat rise). Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino both are up by a point - from 82 to 83. Sadio Mane's possible rise is worth noting with a 79 to 82 increase. Alex Iwobi went from 70 to 74. While Marcos Rojo went from 78 to 83 (A whopping 5-points! If correct, then Rojo is the player with the highest increase.)
Those are just a few names to an estimated 400 players getting a Winter boost in the coming days, so it definitely is something to watch out for. FIFA 17 Winter Update release dates are expected to be on February 10, February 17, February 24 and March 3.
That's not the only good news for FIFA fans, however, as EA Games CEO Andrew Wilson recently announced that they will be bringing back The Journey story mode for FIFA 18. He promised that the next FIFA instalment will bring "players back to The Journey with Season 2, featuring new characters and new storylines."
FIFA 18 is being designed to be custom-built for Nintendo Switch, which has a March 3 release date in the market. However, it is still unsure whether it will be based off of the PS3 and Xbox 360 version.
