'Rick And Morty' Season 3: Evil Morty Returning? Rick In Danger?

There is no official return date for "Rick and Morty" season 3 but there are a lot of news flying around on what the plot will be. There are speculations that the upcoming season will feature the return of the multi-dimensional Mortys, including Evil Morty, which will put Rick in danger.

According to a report, the show's co-creator, Justin Roiland himself teased a concept art of the series which involves a multi-dimensional Morty. "Yes- I'm working on S3 while here. Hard at work. Hustling," Roiland posted on his social media account alongside an image which he said was a sneak preview.

The said image features Rick surrounded by three different Mortys with different facial expressions. One of them looks happy, another one looks scared and while the third has a mischievous grin on his face. Evil Morty's trademark eye patch is missing in the image but it led to speculations of Evil Morty's return.

Evil Morty appeared as a villain in "Rick and Morty" season 1. The genius villain created multiple versions of himself to act out his evil plans. There are many theories about Evil Morty's return. Some fans are speculating that Evil Morty will be the one behind Ricks arrest. Another report reveals Rick would be in danger.

Evil Morty has every reason to fight Rick. First, because Rick does not value the other Mortys. In "Rick and Morty" season 1, episode 10, it was revealed that he was the mastermind behind the Mortys' uprising against Rick. He also created a Council of Ricks to go against the Dimension C-137 Rick. Meanwhile, instead of doing harm, there are also claims that the Evil Morty might be the one who would help the Dimension C-137 Rick to get out of prison. On the other hand, it was previously reported that "Rick and Morty" season 3 has already started its voiceover work and is speculated to air in April.
