The release of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is approaching fast. Recently, players are given an opportunity to experience a part of the game through an Open Beta. However, there is one thing that is missing from the beta right now, the PvP mode. So far, fans are pleased regarding what they see from the title. However, there are several things that fans wanted to see more of the upcoming tactical shooter from Ubisoft.
According to the report from The BitBag, Ubisoft mentioned previously that Ghost Recon Wildlands would feature a different type of PvP mode compared to The Division. As recalled, the fundamental element of Division's PvP mode is going rogue. Meanwhile, one of the best features of latter is the high-risk, high-reward system. Apparently, fans have been longing for a modest game mode in Ghost Recon Wildlands.
As of the moment, there are now details regarding how Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP mode differs from The Division. However, players are still hopeful that Ubisoft will keep the best features from The Division's PvP.
Based on the reports, players recently discovered that Ghost Recon Wildlands would feature microtransactions. It is said that players will spend real-life currency to purchase cosmetic items for their characters. Aside from the cosmetics, players could also buy boosters, weapons, and more valuable items.
However, the contents available in microtransactions could pose a significant threat to the game's PvP content. Players could exploit this system to get ahead of the other players. The weapons play a huge part of the game. It would be a disappointment to lose to a less experienced player due to the massive discrepancy in equipment.
Lastly, fans are also hoping for better servers aside from the PvP mode and improvement in the microtransaction system. In the game's beta, players are not too surprise regarding how Ubisoft's servers fail helplessly. Hopefully, the company will improve these servers during the game's official launch not only for the PvP but the campaign as well.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is scheduled for a March 7 release.
