According to a source, Apple might be planning on releasing the iPhone 6 much sooner than originally thought. A photograph was reportedly taken at a UK operator store that shows a reference to a 4G iPhone 6.
Apple is expected to release new smartphones when it officially releases iOS 7, which is now rumored to be sometime in the fall. Up until now Apple fans have been expecting Apple to release an updated iPhone 5, throwing on Apple's signature S moniker to get another year out of the smartphone's design and calling it the iPhone 5S. Maybe when Tim Cook told investors that there would be "amazing new hardware in the fall," he was also including the iPhone 6 as well.
The screenshot was sent to Stuff.tv and the site claims that the picture was taken at a UK mobile operator store. The source believes that Apple might be skipping the iPhone 5S altogether and going for the rumored redesigned iPhone 6. If true and we read into this screenshot, the smartphone would have a 4G LTE radio; that's all the alleged document shows. It is widely believed that Apple is going to release multiple iPhone models per year, so that it can increase iPhone market share and release updated smartphones more than its usual once a year.
The iPhone 6 is going to have amazing new hardware, according to sources. Apple is expected to give the iPhone 6 a major redesign. Apple is also reportedly releasing a major redesign of its iOS with iOS 7. It could be possible that Apple would want to debut the major redesign on another major redesigned smartphone, the iPhone 6. This is all complete speculation and reading into blurred documents. Like all Apple rumors, take this one with a huge grain of salt.
